- Along a ramp (55 paces, 1:14 slope) leading to the ticket office, then to Manchester straight ahead along a further ramp (67 paces, 1:8 slope) onto the platform. Then to Glossop from ticket office, turn right and across a footbridge (30 paces), and either follow down the ramp 100 paces, 1:15 slope for most of its length) straight onto the platform. Or, turn left and down 28 steps onto the platform.
