Assistance navigating through the station and getting on and off trains (by ramp if required) is available all the time trains are running. There are also staff able to offer assistance on all Southeastern trains from this station. You can book assistance up to 12 hours before your journey or up to 10pm the day before - whichever is the shorter time. You can also travel without booking, just make yourself known to staff as far in advance as possible of the train you would like to get - we recommend at least 20 minutes. The meeting point for assisted travel is the office on platform 2.

This station has a degree of step-free access to the platform, which may be in both directions or in one direction only - please check details -Step free access to platform 2 for services towards Paddock Wood from side entrance to platform. .Staff assistance required to access platform for services to Strood (involves using a crossing to cross the railway tracks). There is no step free access to Platform 1 except via the foot crossing. Stepped access to platform 1 via footbridge. Step free access to booking hall, but only stepped access to both platforms from the booking hall.
